Chelon uses ferrous bisglycinate, a chelated iron that is up to 90% bioavailable — so your body actually uses the 30 mg of elemental iron in each tablet, with very little left over to cause trouble. That is why Chelon avoids the constipation and gastric irritation that make ordinary iron so hard to stay with. Added vitamin C helps you absorb even more.
It is also the smallest iron tablet in India — easy to swallow and free of the metallic iron smell. Most people see their haemoglobin rise by 1–3 points within about six weeks, which makes it a comfortable daily choice, including during pregnancy or whenever haemoglobin runs low.
